GTO T-56?
What would it take to make a 2004 GTO T56 and pedals work in my automatic 5.7 GTA? What parts would I need? How much work would it take?
Thanks,
Bill

Re: GTO T-56?
The LSx transmissions have longer input shafts to accomodate the hyd slave and the LSx crank offsets. It would bottom out on the SBC pilot/crank before the bellhousing would mate to the block.
Thes LSx transmissions are used with an adaptor plate to mate them to a Muncie or T5 bellhousing, if you have access to a T5 pedal/hyd/bell/clutch setup. You will have to modify your Xmem/Torque-arm/driveshaft to do this though.
I don't think the GTO pedal set will work in the 3rdgen, but I'm not positive.
