A friend gave me the rearend out of an 89 Iroc with discs and posi, but one of the axles is missing. I already tried the junk yards and nobody even has a camaro, I would rather not go to the dealership because of price. Any suggestions, if I can find them cheap enough I will get a set, but I really only need the left axle and backing plate. please help!

You don't say whether it's a 10-bolt or a 9-bolt. 10-bolt axles are both the same, but on 9-bolts one is longer than the other. With the 10-bolt you also need to know if they are 26 or 28 spline, because they could be either in '89. Try Camaro Heaven 1-800-CAMARO1
