Death sentance??

Hi,
the more that i read on the B&M SIK the more
worried i a'm becoming for the long life of
my 700. At the time the local perf shop said
it was the best thing going, now it makes me sick to read the horror stories about the
sh***t quality of the Kit, Any ideas on what to do with it take it out or let it stay?
so far so good with shifting maybe I'm worried for nothing Ideas??? GTA......

Some kid I know had one in his '84 with a 305, the tranny lasted like 4 months. I don't know if it was B+M or not, but it chirped all over the place. This car had no ***** so it probably wasnt installed right. Make sure that if it was installed, that it was done correctly. 700R4's can be pretty pissy about stupid stuff that might seem insignificant.

1988 Iroc-Z L98, MSD 6a, Accel coil, K+N's, Airfoil, Coolant Bypass, Flowmaster, Gears, Late model Bose, I like the 80 better

I was at least smart enough to take it to
a GM dealer to put it in, and they are known
for they're great work. GTA....

You can replace it with a TransGo Shift Kit, just get a new plate since the man holes they use as clutch feeds are way too big for the T-Go SK.
