Re: t5 to th 350??
Im in the middle of the same swap. I switched to the 700R4 first, but the 700 is kinda weird. So, I made my own aluminum plate to cover the hole in the tunnel, then mounted my aftermarket shifter to the plate. I left the clutch pedal incase I wanted to switch back. Now, if you are for sure going to use the TH 350, then do yourself a favor and go get one with a 9 INCH TAILSHAFT! I tried to use a short tail trans, and ran into the issue of finding a driveshaft that will fit. If you can get an 82-83 driveshaft, then you can use the short tail. If you want to use the 700R4 driveshaft then get the 9 inch. Other than that and you will have to order the Torq arm conversion from B&M or TCI, and you will have to modify the cross member for the trans mount. do all that and your done. Pretty sure Im right?
