ede you also need a driveshaft out of a 82 auto car. the 82 came with the 200 tranny and the driveshaft is three inches longer than the 700 or 5 speed. but you can always do what i did. take yours out, measure it, then go to the junk yard and dig through the driveshaft pile till you find one close enough to work.

You don't need a longer driveshaft if you use a long tail shaft TH350. The long one is 9" and the short one is 6".

It would be easier to answer if we knew what you had but here goes,

Driveshaft and crossmember off of 82 auto or four speed.

If you can't find them you can modify the crossmember yourself and have the your driveshaft cut down at a drivetrain shop.

You will also need the torque arm kit for mounting the arm to the trans. Summit/Jegs has them.

and if its 82 car and are going to th350 then you dont need the GM bracket, im doing this on my 82 200c car, going to shorty th350

if car was a 700r4 or a T5 car then id have gotten a truck th350 in which i have a couple of anyways

i have an 82 truck thats got bad longtail th350 in it, the th200c out of the t/a is going in it since i found a 3" longer driveshaft for the truck, its 71" from joint to joint, i found a 74" one today, so......
