Are you going to a V8 at the same time? If not, just search the salvage yards until you find a donor to grab everything from. You'll also need the clutch pedal stuff from under the dash, and the hydraulic release stuff from under the hood.

re: swapping auto to manual trans

i have been wondering this too,

ive looked for a write up or a article and i cant find any yet,

i herd a t5 is week behind a 350, so would i need a t56?

my best route would to get all the parts from a parts car?

is it an easy swap ?

how much would i get charged for this swap at a shop?

input is appreciated thank you.

Re: swapping auto to manual trans

There are tech articles on this website for both swapping from automatic to manual, and from T5 to T56. They're written for a V8 but should be close enough to help you on a V6.
