v6 to v8 tranny swap can i do it?????

i have two camaro's one is a 86 2.8 5speed and the other is a 84 v8 305 5 speed. the 84 is shot and i have a tranny from the v6 car. will they match up or will i get problems???? help please. ifyou have an answer please email me or reply to this at beachluvrs@hotmail.com thanks

Just like you were told when you were MISSHOTROD or whatever. NO the 2.8 transmission will never bolt on to a 305.
