I have a used 700r4 auto trans out of a 1987 z28. Was curious how much i should ask for the trans when i go to sell it. as far as i know its been sitting for a while. but was in working order when parked. needing to know how much to ask for it asap thanks guys

 

It is worth whatever someone will give for it.

Personally, I view a used stock trans(or any trans that I'm not 100% certain of it's build) as a core, so $100-150.

Depends on the mileage. I would say about $300 or so if it is known to work perfect and it has under 100k miles.

 

im in the same boat, just swapped trannys...i dont care though what i get for mine, if someone wants it they can come get it (around Macomb Illinois) for $50 cash. works/shifts good, no proof though thats why i dont expect anymore out of it.
