tranny swap
im getting pissed off with my auto tranny and i want a straight drive, what would be the best to swap to for the money?

Two main swaps, are a T5, which came in V6 and 305-V8 3rd gens. They will be the least cost, but offer the least strength.
The other popular swap is the LT1-T56 from a '94-'97 4thgen Fbody. They can offer increased strength, the double-overdrive gears, but would be more $, depending on your sources..
Both swaps have lots of info, and Sticky posts on this site and dozens of others..
