Just got done swapping my V6 for a V8 and have a problem with the 700 automatic tranny. The car will still roll while the tranny is in park, while it's in park and the car rolls I can hear a ticking sound coming from the tranny tunnel under the center console. The fluid level is right.

Any suggestions?....

Adjust your shifter linkage. Down where it hooks up to the tranny there is a linkage arm with an adjustment slot. Loosen that and put the shifter and lever into park. Tighten the adjuster and recheck operation.
