Axle/Gears: strange s60

9 bolt pinion yoke

Can I use a pinion yoke off a 10 bolt? The one on my 9 bolt is missing a weight. I dont' want to tac weld and grind and risk melting the seal to even it out.

Does anyone know if a 10 bolt pinion yoke can go on a borg warner 9 bolt???

Nevermind, dumb question i guess if the 10 bolts are 26 spline and the 9 bolts are 28. Any insight

I don't know if I have a yoke for the 9 bolt or not. I have a box full of yokes and a set of 9 bolt gears. I'll check when I get out to the shop if I can remember.
