richmond 6 speed

can anybody tell me if richmonds 6 speed fits on 3rd gens? is it any better than the t-56? thanks

Transmission: 700R4
Have actually seen the price on one of these? The Richmond has an external shift linkage which will make shifts a little more sloppy than a T56.It also has only 1 overdrive which can be good or bad based on your point of view.It will however laugh at just about any amount of torque you throw at it.You will also need a custom driveshaft.If I had the funds I'd get a T56.

that's what i figured, i just wanted to make sure though. where is the best place to find a good t-56? i'm guessing the dealership is too expensive
