At 1500RPM's in Drive & OD the transmission
seems to be seaching for a gear. I have a 2400 stall Torque converter. Above and below
this everything is find is this Normal??

Sounds like the TC is locking and unlocking, you may want a manual switch with that higher than stock stall converter.

Mine does that too and I was thinking of buying a handle with a button on it. I have the console megashifther and you could hook up a latch relay off the button. You could then hook the relay to the lockup button on the brake pedal. One push would let the converter lock like usual and one more push would make it so it wouldn't lock up. People say that it increases heat not having the converter locked but what is happening with all that locking and un locking. Stress on the whole drive train and heat from the shifting!!
