My 700 is on the way out. I know it's gonnna shatter when I take it for its' first test drive w/ the new blower. Should I go w/ a rebuild-race 700r4 or w/ a turbo 350 or something of the sort and get the torque arm that bolts to the floor. Anybody have any GOOD info that has been in my shoes. I need a tranny that could handle 525 hp now and 600+ when I go to 15 lbs boost and a 383 blower motor. cost is an issue, I don't want to spend $3,000, and I would like to keep similar gearing, but I might not need OD. thanks

Talk to Dana at Pro Built Transmissions (800.776.3288) and express your needs. He built my 700R4 to handle 650hp. The cost was $1100 and came with a one-year warranty.

One year later, I'm totally satisfied with its performance and reliability.
