Has anyone put a th350 in their 3rd gen instaed of the 700r4??? if so how do you or did you like it?????? my car is driven mostly stoplight to stoplight killing the pi$$ed off bumblebees but my 84 tranny just isn't holding up anymore... I can't let the import punks beat me, but i don't want to spend $1200 for a rebuild..

 

I put in a TH350 in my car. I like it a lot, but you'll need to get a bracket for the torque arm. Got mine from a local guy and don't know who makes it, but it was close to $100. Now, I wish I had spent the extra money to put a 700R4 in. The gas mileage gains from overdrive, would have payed for the initial difference in price a while back.

need the same help my 82 has that weak looking 3 speed auto,,,i cant waite to get rid of it,,,its worn out anyway ,,,,,,where do we get the brakets
