how long to pull a t-5?

hey guys. background: bought a car from a tranny shop as is 3 weeks later a HUGE ATF leak at the front seal, take it in and they want $300 just for labor and $5 for parts.

I keep askin them if they will jsut redo the work and they say no. Even though it was their work thats faulty. I could see the tranny not having any sort of guarentee but their work I would think they would want to back it up and show some quality in it. BUT they want $300 jsut to pull it and then about 4 minutes and $5 for replacing the leaky seal.
1st question how long does it take to actually pull the t-5 out.
2nd am I getting rippped off or what?
3rd should I take it some where BESIDES AAMCO to get it replaced if I have to pay for the whole thing?

Pull it yourself it only takes about 30 min. to an hour to have it out and on a bench. And you'll only need common tools.

My dad and I pulled my T5 out last nite in about an hour. If we had a lift and some other nice accesories than it probably would of went faster. Pulling a tranny is easy, just remove a few bolts and away you go.
