I have a 91 GTA with a 305 in it with a 700r4. I want to swap it out with a 5 speed to make it a little more fun to drive. I was wondering if anyone knew how hard it is? If any company makes a kit that comes with the pedals slave cylinder ect. And if there is anything else i would need to change with it, such as drive shaft, crossmember, torque arm ect. Any help would be greatttly appreciated. Thanks alot guys in advance

 

there is a tech article explaning the swap, the only thing he doesnt cover is speedo. basically you have an electronic (vss) set up. if you get the trans from an older car you will need to get the vss. there is a sticky on the trans and drivetrain forum that will show you how to identify a wc from a nwc.
