Is anyone using (or have used) the "stick shift" option "TransGo kit" on a 700r4???

I wanted to know how responsive it is??

I dont think I will get tired of it as I dont drive it verry often

Do you have anyreason for not do that option???

I have built hundreds of 700R4's and have not built the "stick", mainly because of the weak points in the 700R4. If you make a wrong gear start more than a couple of times it is possible to do damage to the unit. Stick with the automatic and you will have less problems. If you choose to do the stick, make sure the TV cable adjustment is absolutely right on (use transfixleos setup on the TV cable) Follow the directions closely. Remember when you downshift, make sure you give it gas to bring up the "R"'s too match the rpm of the next gear!

Can't think of a good reason TO use the stick shift option. If you want to hold on for later shifts you can do this with the full auto setting.

I think I'll just go with Full Auto
