help with my trans!!!!!!
Im pretty sure this has been up here but i cant really find what im looking for can i use a trans that is from a later iroc on my 86 and how can i convert the electric gearing to the cable drive that my car is.... i cant find the info any where do i just unbolt the plug on the side or is there more than that

yes you can
use a puller to remove the reluctor ring (the pressed on metal speedo gear)
buy or use your old clip and plastic speedo gear
the output shaft should have a hole for the clip even though it had a metal reluctor.
