questions about gears

ok i'm about to have the money together to get my gears.
i have 3.08 and want 3.73
i have a couple questions
1) would that oem takoff carrier that slp sells (erik was talking about it its the one for the new ss camaro) work with my read differential housing?
2) would it work with my axels?
3) if it does work then i can just buy the gears that would work for a new ss correct?
i think thats it but i'll probably have more questions later.

thanks a ton though
Andrew

No, the SLP takeoff is for 28 spline axles and you have 26 spline. However you can install new 28 spline axles from Moser and it will bolt right up. Then get 3-series 10-bolt gears from anywhere.
