Truck Tranny
What engine do you have and what kind of performance are you after? The 4WD is out and unless you have a 2.8 the S-10 is out (except for the 4.3 which uses the same bolt pattern).
I guess the real question is why a truck tranny? If you are assuming it is stronger, it isn't. The stronger trannies are the ones with the Vette rear planet (better lube but they all (except for the early V-6's) have the same number of clutches and the same geartrain. What makes a tranny better is the calibration, both the initial factory shift timing and aftermarket upgrades (TransGo Being the best).
