so i just finished my transgo 700 2-3 shift kit install. seems to be slipping into each gear and doesnt shift until 3k even part throttle. can a bad cable adjustment be the culprit?

As far as I know there is only one way to adjust the tv cable and that's per the GM shop manual. Anything else and you're asking for transmission failure.

Re: tv cable adjustment

I didn't mean to question your abilities.
However my answer would be no.
The reason I say that is because if the TV cable is adjusted properly, the problems you're experiencing must be caused by another condition.
The throttle valve is only partly responsible for RPM shift points ( as you know) however once it is adjusted , improper shift points are caused by something else.
According to my ATSG manual, high shift points can be caused by: TV cable, valve body( TV exhaust ball, TV limit valve, spacer plate or gasket misalignment)
Slipping into gear has too many possible conditions to list it all here.
