Is there any do's or dont's regarding the installation of the switch to turn on and off the lock up converter. Do's and dont's as in driving a certain way.

I wouldn't recommend using a toggle switch only I would at least run it through a third or fourth gear switch to prevent lock up on top of second gear, it won't lock up any sooner. Locking it up in second can be tough on the converter if it shifts hard into third. It can adventually break the springs in the converter clutch.

 

How do i wire to the fourth speed switch. Sounds like a good safety to me. Now Im fine with the mechanals stuff I just dont know where to tap into the wires
