Sometimes when i let the clutch out i hear this little tink noise. It doesn't do it all the time. It sounds like 2 pieces of metal tapping together.Does anyone have any idea of what this sound might be. thanks.

 

Well, as far as I can tell it's the throwout bearing and it's worn out. I talked to someone else here and he hasn't changed it since November or something. Mine has been jingling for about a month. I'll change it when I get to it (if the bell doesn't drive me bananas first!)
I just don't want to spend the money on pulling the tranny out for something like that....
