Which Trany lines are in and out?
I am installing a torque convertor and transmission cooler this weekend and want to double check if the lines going into the radiatior is the top one or the bottom one. I thing that it makes engineering sences to flow coolent down w/ the help of gravity but sometimes the OEM do crazy things.

I always get confused by this, but I believe the bottom line on the radiator is the inlet to the radiator. The idea isn't to have gravity help (you'd still have to get it up to the top if that's where the inlet was anyway), but to prevent aeration due to splashing of falling fluid.

The top one on the rad is the outlet from the cooler. It goes to the top fitting on the tranny.

That makes some sence but that sucks! I will just be harder to route the lines. FYI - I can turn start the car because the trany is out. Thanks for the help.
