Would I be able to swap my 3:42's out of my 86 rear into a 87 Iroc Posi rear with 2:77's
or take the posi unit and axles out of the 87 and swap them to my 3:42's And whats the difficulty level? Thanks. Oh ya. The 87 is a 2 series carrier. Can I swap carriers?

2.77's are a 9 bolt rear end. 3.42's are a 10 bolt rear end. Cannot swap any parts.
