Engine: 5.7 TPI
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 3.23 Posi
IROC worth putting in new 700R4?
I have an IROC in need of a new tranny. It's $2000 for a new 700. Are these cars worth that kind of expense?

Not me, but then again I can rebuild engines and transmissions. It just depends on how attached you are to the car that determines if it's worth it.
Also, you can buy a 700 off the net for way less than that even with shipping. You could probably even score a good used one for cheap..
