Price for gears and install? Suggestion for gears?
OK guys, I think gears should be my next step, what do you think (See sig for mods)? They will really increase my power off the line, right? Traction shouldn't be too much of a problem, I have 225/50/16 tires on there right now...
What ratio should I be looking at? Can anyone calculate what RPM's I will be at going 60 MPH in OD with those gears? Also, how much should I expect to pay for them? How much for the install of them? (I'm not up to that yet...)
Thanks

I just got some nice 3.73 gears for $135 from gearsareus.com. THey work great and the install kit was another $89. Another thing you may want to think about is the slp zexel torsen differential. It's only $100 and it shouldn't be any more to install when you get your gears done. I had a shop do mine for $250. In od at 60 it revs about 1500-2000 rpms...

What is the "zexal torsen differential"?
Also, were you satisfied with the results of the gear swap?

92fire-audio,
Are those Gm Motive gears? how long did it take to ship them? Im looking at buying a set right now and this is by far the best deal I've seen.
Thanks,
Eric
