Torque arm bushing installed... problems..
part nr for this bushing is ENS-3-1108R from Summitracing..
Please take youre time reading thru all this, and help me out, Cheers
Hi
Tonight I changed the torquearm bushing, wich wasnt the easiest thing ive done... hehe
Staring with info from the install sheet:
Part Number shall point towards rear axle.
Well thats easier said then done, when the bushing looks like this (the bushing is mirrored in the M or W shape part.. that what I need..)

The form (M) is mirrored, So the part number cant be turned towards the rear axle cause that wont fit at all.. So some cutting have to be done...See arrows..
And some more cutting behind the metall... near the arrow:

And when the rubber is removed it looks like this:
Couldnt fit it any other way than that....:

Another angle:

So there is some small spaces where no bushing sits.. the bushing cant be moved and the torque arm is in place... I hade to take away ~8mm rubber in the bottom... wich dosent feel good...

During the intallation the torquearm was resting against the top of the floor, the car was standing raised infront and on the floor at back.. (this is ok for the car ? I havent hurt anything !? It was loose some hours during cutting/testing etc... its fine having it like that without hurting anything on the car?! I really hope so...)
I havent been driving it yet, just started it and walked thru the gears to see if there was any movement on the arm etc... It was firm and not moving..
So to the question, I think I ordered the wrong one due the fact I had to cut so much and it wasnt fitting that well.. If I turned it around (so the W shape didnt fit my torque arm) it fitted almost perfect in the metallhousing...So im quessing that I need to order a new one ?
Could you guys help me show wich one I need to order ? It would really make my day.
Thanks for listening..

There are two bushings as seen in the following link (Note that the part number you provide isn't listed):

Re: Torque arm bushing installed... problems..
they are called
"lip facing driveshaft"
"lip facing away from driveshaft"
look like you need the away one
does the M point to the drive shaft or outside of car, and by the M i mean the bottom of the M but anyway thats the "lip" that they refer to
if the the driveshaft is the bottom a lip facing would look like a M if your looking from the rear to the front of the car
away would look like a W
i know i repeted myself a few times but i wanted you to be clear on it
BTW i see you got the poly trans mount, good idea, with the poly TQ arm you will rip a rubber trans mount in a hurry if yo got any mods to your trans

Re: Torque arm bushing installed... problems..
I bought the one with nr : ENS-31111 from hawksthidgenparts.
Cause I have the 1112 modell now and it didnt fit, so the 1111 must be the one then.
Ill keep you guys posted. hoping on a fast shipping on the new one, I want the car ready before 1st May
