Trashed the tranny
Well first day with plates and I trashed the tranny. Was runnin my buddy's 2nd gen 80 Camaro with 400 horse crate motor, on the third run 1-2 shift was fine but 2-3 nothing there(by the way took him on the first 2 runs, so still gota find out whats done to the car) so now I need a new tranny any body got ideas?? Oh its the 700r4 thanks>

Long before I joined this forum, I ruined a half dozen 700R-4s. Finally, I bought a used 700 built by BowTie Overdrives. Their level 2 version. I've since put 170,000 miles on this trans without any issues, and some of those miles were in my '88 that ran low 10s at the dragstrip.
