T56 D.F. clutch pac from summit rip off?

I just bought a centerforce dual friction clutch pack from summit for my T56 and it cost me $525.00. Is this set up any good? The price really sucks! Alot of people here have had trouble with this clutch why? The company says it has 90% less slippage than stock yet I read here that they slip alot! What else can I do that would be cheaper and better? I still have the factory pressure plate from a 96' Camaro with 65,000 miles stock. Could I just buy the clutch disk and re-use the stock pressure plate? This combo will be behind a ZZ4 and 3:70 posi.

man, send it back. a friend of mine put it behind his lt-1 with a little spray and sticky tires. the clutch spun instantly, and centerforce basically told him he was SOL. Ive got the mcleod street disc, its great. lauched on slicks packing the front wheels and never slipped. this is my second season on this clutch and it has worn very little. as long as you dont have over 500 hp and spin over 7000rpm this is the clutch to go with. plus, its way cheaper. i paid 355 for mine.
