Did a search and couldnt find any info...just wondering what everyone thought about the B&M Hammer shifter...how easy to install?

I was going to go with the megashifter.....because I like the fact that it'll go in the console like the stock shifter...but i HATE that crappy looking boot.....I THINK the hammer has a leather boot...but not sure on that one.....however...its not a console made shifter....but says base can be trimmed to fit any floor....just wondering if anyone has done it...and how it looks......if not then I guess I'll go with the megashifter......anyway to change the boot to a leather one????

Actually I have heard someone on these boards say they bought the hammer shifter boot and put it on the hammershifter.

B&M also sells the Hammer's t-handle by itself, so you could probably screw the handle onto a Megashifter...
