i'm also interested in a price on that master rebuild kit you mentioned in the post for IROCZ4BD3. Additionally, any tips you can give to someone who's going to be undertaking his first tranny rebuild endevour??

And books/manuals i should read first??

The master kit including, Trans-Go Performance Shift kit, new rear planet, new reverse input drum, new stator, both sprags, Kolene 3-4 steels, all other Borg Warner clutches, steels, & bushings, Corvette servo, all of the updates and everything else needed to build a strong street/strip transmission sells for $550.00. This is exactly what I put in my Performance transmission buildups. If you do not need some of the parts that I supply, then I can deduct them. I would use the ATSG book as a manual for a rebuild. ($18.00)
Glad Too Help!!!

wow, a lot of the hard parts are even included. When I'm ready to go, I'll contact you. I'll probably tear it down first, and see what's cookin in there. The trans in the car was done as a "performance rebuild" 2 years ago, so a lot of the parts in there have been upgraded and replaced.

and ATSG? forgive my ignorance....

ATSG (automatic transmission service group), it is the book that most builders use.
Hope This Helps!!!
