what can i do to make my wimpy,stock thm200c 3 speed auto more stronger in my 1982 firebird

 

There is a Trans-Go Shift kit available, bigger 2nd gear servo, and you can increase the clutch count in third gear, etc. The problem is that you still have a 3 speed. The much maligned 200 is actually the basis for the 200-4R. I used one to tow a boat after installing a TransGo Shift Kit. At the time I built the tranny with and axtra direct clutch but I wouldn't bother now, I prefer the thicker steels for heat contol.
