Wiring question.....
I have a 700R4 out of an 87 Firebird I belive. There are two electrical connections on the driver side. The first is about halfway down the length of the tranny, is a 4 prong square connector and is pointing straight up. The second comes out the side of the tranny near the tail shaft and is a two prong connectors. What are these connectors and what do they do? I thoguht the 2 prong connector near the tailshaft was for reverse lights but now i'm not so sure. Thanks

The 4 prong connector controls the torque converter lock-up. The 2 wire connector is for the electronic speedo. The reverse lights are done on the shifter.
