tell the difference in tranny
hey i have a 92 3.1 auto v6 camaro i dont know if it has a 700r4 or 4l60e the rpo has on it MXO which means either or transmission much appericate if you guys could help i need a new transmission bad and i dont know what transmission it is

I was hoping someone knows ?? I puting a 94 lt1 into a86 IROC Z with a 4L60E trans can I just change the tail housing from 4L60E and speedometer grear from the old 700r and the 700R tail housing they seen al most the same will this work ?? thank for any help

On CAMARO PERFORMERS magizine May 2009 page 28 they swaped 4l60e into a 83 Camaro they used a coversion kit PN SW41 for $400 bucks which to me nuts way over priced what ever happen to hot rodding like the old day would just changing swaping the tail housing's work??
