Question 2, Weird tranny feeling.

Ok, this question is quite a bit different.
Ok so heres the situation.
1: Car is in OVERDRIVE
2: Speed is about 45-60.
3: Decelerating\coasting.
heres wut the car does, it will be coasting fine, then all of a sudden, the RPMS will drop to like 1000 and u will feel the car slow down, like when u let of the gas on a manual tranny, it will do it for like a second, then it goes back to regular, then it will do it again, pulling the RPMS from 1500 to like 1000 and slowing the engine and car, like u are downshifting, then it goes back to normal. The car does the exact same thing in DRIVE, but at lower speeds. wut is causing this?

All I can think of is somehow the L/U (which at closed throttle should be OFF)is cycling on and off. Why? Let me know when you find out- perhaps a missadjusted TPS?

Sounds like brake switch is confusing the lockup converter. Possible is is over adjusted.

Just a shot in the dark....I'm used to Honda's. Been away from V8's for too many years. That is changing!

Ok, this kidna has to do with this question.

Ok, do u know the feeling when u downshift manualy, and it drags the engine down, well if i drive in DRIVE, and i decelerating, it does the thing were it pulls on the engine brining down the RPM's. but when it does it, the exhaust sounds really really choppy, and if im going say 20 and drop it into 2nd, it does the same thing, realyl choppy sound until the car slows down. But it does it in drive too, would that mean the Torque convertor is locking when it is not supposed to be?

Maybe the tranny is slipping into a lower gear?
