I was driving home last night and I heard a loud bang and then grinding. The axle flew out of the side of my car. It scared the **** out of me to put it mildly. They chewed my car all to hell putting it on the tow truck and then it was a $75 tow job. I pulled it apart and the posi is toast so it is back to the singe track. I am on the phone with the dealer right now. How much end play is there supposed to be in an axle. I think the ones in the one I blew up move too far.

To top all this off, my friend has been nothing but awesome and lent me his truck. I was being crazy careful with it but I put the rear end in his truck with the sway bar on it and I think I put a scratch on his new truck. MY LIFE SUCKS!!!!! AAARRRGGGGHHHHH I just need to vent because I feel like a low life for scratching his truck.

Well, sounds like you experienced the downside of C-clip 10 bolts... sorry to hear about that. Good luck getting it fixed back up.
