What would a 700R4 out of an 89trans am 350TPI, be? Is it a spedo. or electric? What size should the tailshaft be? What is the electric piece that goes to it? Like 3 or 4 wires? Is it a TV setup? I have no idea. I'm a rookie! Thanks!

 

heres a pic that might help id your trans also you should have the electric speedo it has 2 wires and plugs in the tail shaft driver side.if its mechanical it will have the screw on type cable and the tail should have 3 bolt holes for the torque arm.and should have 1 more square plug for the lock up torque converter about mid way of the trans with about 3 wires.i have some more id info but you have to have the tranny apart to use it.i got this manual with the transpack shift kit i installed in mine hope i helped
