Swapping V6 and 700R4 to a V8 and TH350

Swapping V6 and 700R4 to a V8 and TH350

This subject may have been discussed many many times before, so this should be no prob for you guys...i know on the tranny i need the B&M adapter thing for the torque arm, and a driveshaft from an 82 4 speed or sumthin like that if i get the 6" tail...but will i need new tranny mount(crossmember i think its called? maybe, i dunno) if one of yall could explain what all i will need, i would GREATLY appreciate it, thanks guys!!!

Engine: L92/LQ4 (both w/4" stroke)
Transmission: 4L80E/4L80E
Axle/Gears: 12B-3.73/9"-3.89
Since the frame rails to which the rear crossmember mounts are not parallel, changing the length of the transmission requires a different length crossmember.

A 6-inch tailshaft TH350 would require a shorter crossmember than a TH700R4.

Idles smooth @ 600 RPM in D. Best 15.02/95.06 @ 5800' Bandimere (corrected 13.93/102.4 @ sea level).
