so i was under my car adjusting my parking brake and i started looking at my tranny. its a t-5 and it has a wire with a plug on the end plugged in to the tranny. then i noticed another wire with a plug on the end of it that runs in the same loom as the other, but it isnt connected. what does it got to or what does it do? it was just pushed up between the fuel lines, not connected.

 

Hey man, I don' have a 5-speed, but my guess would be either the neutral saftey wire or the reverse light wire maybe. Possibly some sort of speed-sensor.....don't know for sure, I am just tring to help you out. Anyone else with a T-5?........help this man out. I wish I knew more about the wires, as I am fixing to swap in the T-5 in place of my auto.

i dunno, the reverse lights work fine but who knows wtf it is!
