Slave Cylinder broken
Slave Cylinder broken
the housing on my slave cylinder is busted, does anyone how much a new versus used one? Do you think I should go used or new and does anyone have one for sale?

You can get an assembly at the dealer of both the master and slave cyls, plus the reservoir, plus the line, Prefilled and bled, for a little under $100. IMHO that's the smart way to go. I put that in my car the last time the system failed; it's alot better than at other times past where I just changed out the broken part. It works just like brand new, for some reason.

thanks for the fast response, I was drading the worst b/c of other parts costs but that makes me feel a whole lot better, and hey why not get it all new, I just got the 305 with 8 miles on it in the car along with a new NAPA cluch (which is really just a LUC?? cluch with another name) and the trans is being rebuild on the side by a mechanic that works at a chevy dealer(the dealer does not know).
