Ok to mix Trans fluid?

Is it ok to mix different brands of transmission fluid? Example; Mobil ATF Dexron 3 Ford Mercon with Mobil 1 synthetic? Or any other brand for that mater?

I can’t seem to find anymore Mobil ATF fluid. No one cares it and I don’t want to waste the 8 quarts that I have.

Any suggestion would be helpful.

I think on the backs of the bottles it should say "compatible with all Dexron fluids"...

Yes no problem. It will still raise your oils boiling point at least 40 degrees and the flash point @100.

Most K-Marts carry the Mobil Dexron III (non-synthetic), if you still can not find it try a Mobil station or a oil distributor in your area in the Yellow pages.
