How durable are 1310 U-joints?....

Upon receiving my Dana 44 from SLP, I noticed that it has a pinion which uses a 1310 U-joint. I was quite disappointed.

Is the U-joint now the weak point in the system? Is that necessarily bad? What kind of torque can the U-joint withstand?

Thanks in advance,
RSR
