new steering box

well, its come time to replace my steering box, i think its the only stock part left on the car. Anyway, i was looking at this one, its a quick ratio box with some upgrades. Anybody have one of these or have any feedback on it at all?

Re: new steering box

I think our cars are 14:1,that one is 12:1. Not sure but i think the 605's are not as good as the 800's as per camarotech.com

Re: new steering box

i believe this is one of the 800's because it says in the notes "when replacing 605's"

its a quick ratio box, 12:1, our cars were also available with a quick ratio box.

i dont have a quick ratio box, i dont like the idea of trying to rebuild a 20 year old box, and new with a warranty has a nice ring to it.
