Simple Question.
700R4, Whats the Modulator Do ?

What is the Vac line that Runs to it then ?

The 700 trans did not come from the factory with a vacuum modulator.
There is however a kit to add a modulator to a 4L60E trans. The kit's purpose was to help provide better line pressure control & rise in some of the early 4L60E's.
The modulator was added to the inside of the transmission. I know this kit exists since I installed a few of them.
Are you sure there is a vacuum line hooked to your 700 transmission? There should not be a vacuum line to it.

I guess not... I sort of assumed I suppose from previous Th350 experiance.
So whats the Vaccum line running down behind the engine For ?
hard plastic line it seems.
