alright here are some symptoms that I am having. If I bring the car up to about 60 and easy roll on the gas the car will start to shudder at first easy then more violently until I either let off the gas or mash it down enough to downshift. Also while cruising every now and then it feels like something just slips then grabs. It's like no power and then power again. You can also start off from a stand still easy on the throttle and the pedal goes down but nothing happens then all the sudden it jerks your head back in the seat, really embarrassing. Anybody have any ideas, is it the torque converter, the lock-up.

Your highway problem sounds like the lock-up. Try holding the brake down barely while driving to see if it stops the shuddering. The TC won't lock if the brake is down at all.
As far as the other stuff, that sounds like the tranny is neutralizing then going into gear and such.
Have you checked your fluid. I would and see what color it is. If it's red and doesn't smell burnt-good. If it's jet black and looks like oil and smells like a campfire-bad.
