Hi guys ..well its been bad days for me..i have a 82 S/E with the 2.8 my TH200C started with a big sound in the tail so today i removed it from the car...now the problem is..i live in chile southamerica and there is no junkyards well i decided to make the AUTO to MANUAL swap and my first choice is the T5 but which GM cars came with that tranny? A V8 T5 isnt the same as a V6T5? which other tranny do you recommend ..someone toldme a 78 celica tranny? or a C10 4speed Saginaw and How hard ?HELP ME GUYS IM IN BIG TROUBLE”””””

T5s from 2.8 f-bodies are a dime a dozen around here. I don't know about down there, but I would imagine they're still more plentiful than other makes. Anything besides this setup is going to require major custom fabrication. I'd start checking with some american junk yards. T5s are light enough that you can get them shipped through UPS or Fed Ex or whatever.
