Green Foam in Differential

Seriously. I just checked the diff today for the first time ever. It hadn't been leaking and it's so awkward to get to without a hydraulic jack, etc, etc... just lazy. Anyway, when I put my little finger in all I could find was thick green slimy foam. I know I have the LSD (posi) since I have the G80 RPO code. Is this green foam normal, and if I want to add some fluid, what should I add ? My fbird owners manual says to only add part number 1050010 if I have rear disc brakes. btw I used to get a clicking sound from the rear area in general, at slow speeds, but it has gone away by itself.
Thanks

Nevermind. The dealer said green is the right color, and the that foam is normal.

Mine is never foamy or green in three vehicles when I check or change the rear lube. Sounds like some sort of water or additive contamination to me. I would drain that SOB now and put in some Mobil 1 75W-90. Just my $0.02.
