5 speed trans

im not sure if im posting this in the right spot but im just curious how difficult would it be to put a 5 speed in a 92 rs thats an automatic? i apologize again if this in the wrong spot.

there is a tech article in the tech section on the homepage, check it out. It will walk you through it.

Hardest part i found was swapping the pedals.

If you want to do the swap, just make sure you have all the parts and the proper tools before you start.

Will do, i just got a 350 from my uncle so im going to eventually be swapping that out with the ole stock 305 in my rs... but that will be long way down the road

Which 5 speed did you intend to put in your car? If it's a t5 beware, a healthy 350 has the potential to do bad things to a t5, the case tends to deflect too much which will cause the gears to fail.
Part of the reason nearly all factory 350 camaros came with the auto iirc (although the 700r4 isn't much better).
A tko, richmond or even a t56 would be a much better choice, that is of course of you havent already made your purchase

Far from a purchase, im not completely sure if want to do a manual or not, just looking into it, but thank you for the help
